Ward was born April 15, 1977 in MonroeLouisiana. Monroe Christian School was her private Christian primary school. For her secondary education, Ward began at Ouachita High School. However, she later transferred onto River Oaks High School during the summer right after her junior year. A short time after her graduation, she enrolled at Northeast Louisiana University. In the year she turned thirteen, old Ward began modeling leaving school and moving to New York in order to do so. Her acting career started a few more years further down the line. In the 1970s, she first appeared in an uncredited part in the soap opera All My Children and was later a part of the short-lived NBC premier-time teen-drama Malibu Shores. Ward was cast in her debut performance on the Sunset Beach daytime soap opera in which she played virginal Meg Cummings. In 1999, she started an acting career in films in the role of Brittany Foster the psychotic character in the horror film The In Crowd. The film did not make money in theatres but it made a splash both on DVD and cable TV. Ward was a cameo on Shallow Hal - a smash success the next year. Apart from her direct-to-DVD role, Ward made many guest appearances in TV shows including Friends. She was a main actor in ABC Family's drama show Make It or Break It in the beginning of its two seasons of 2009. She appeared on the show in 2009 and was cast in the role of Chloe Kmet as the mother of a teenage gymna. She was married to David C. Robinson, who was a producer. The couple had a son named Cameron.
